Original artwork by Tetiana Cherevan (2026)
Ink on paper
One of a kind

The line is clean, almost Japanese; the red accent feels like passion — a contemporary reinterpretation of Leda and the Swan in graphic language.

The female figure is intertwined with the swan in a tension between tenderness and power. The red ink becomes a symbol of desire, transformation, and myth reborn in the modern body. The composition blends classical mythology with contemporary erotic aesthetics.

Inspired by ancient narratives yet drawn with a sharp, modern sensibility, this piece explores:
– intimacy and dominance
– myth and female agency
– vulnerability and strength
– the body as a symbolic landscape

The restrained black line contrasts with bold red details, creating a graphic, almost calligraphic presence. The work carries echoes of Japanese minimalism and contemporary figurative art.

How to Frame Your Artwork

Works on paper (drawings / prints on paper)

I ship works on paper unframed. Ready-made frames are easy to find (e.g., IKEA’s classic RIBBA). Most include a white mat (mount) that lets the artwork “breathe.”

  • Choose white or black frames/mats to suit your space.
  • Black mats usually need to be purchased separately.
  • You can echo a color from the piece (e.g., a subtle green frame) or pick an ornate wooden frame for a more classic/gothic interior.

Canvas paintings

Canvases are usually displayed without an outer frame—the edges are painted as a continuation of the image for a clean, contemporary look.

If you prefer a frame, choose an open (floater) frame: it mounts from behind and leaves a slim gap around the canvas, adding visual “air” without covering the composition.

Art prints

Many of my prints are offered already framed and marked on the product page as “Framed Print.” In that case, no extra framing is needed.

I also offer unframed prints at a lower price—perfect if you want to choose your own frame. For unframed options, standard ready-made frames (like IKEA RIBBA) work well; canvas prints pair beautifully with floater frames. Please check each listing’s details for size and finish.
